OBJECTIVE ANALYSIS FOR THE COURTROOM

Forensic Video Analysis & Expert Testimony

Robert McFarlane has served as a qualified forensic video analyst and expert witness in state and federal courts across California, Arizona, Texas, and Michigan. Beyond delivering compelling courtroom testimony, his forensic exhibits and detailed analytical reports are routinely admitted into evidence on their own merits.

Backing his forensic specialization is a 20-plus-year investigative foundation, including a decade as a private investigator handling serious criminal defense and high-profile disciplinary matters, preceded by 12 years with the Oakland Police Department as a patrol officer and narcotics detective.

Surveillance footage, digital video recordings, and photos rarely tell the complete story at face value. Video compression, frame rates, and lighting artifacts can distort reality. Retaining a qualified digital media forensic expert ensures an accurate technical evaluation of your digital evidence—delivering clear, objective, and unbiased opinions that withstand rigorous courtroom scrutiny.
